Samsung Electronics West Africa has announced the commencement of a promotional offer on its recently launched Galaxy S Series, the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+.
The company has promised to reward customers who purchase the devices between the 12th to 30th June, 2017 with free starter kit packs, which contain accessories such as back cover, screen protector, and power bank.

Have you ever been in a situation where:You don’t have voice credit to call your Uber driver. You are in a meeting where phone calls are prohibited, but you need to ensure your Uber arrives on time. Or maybe you don’t want to share your number with an Uber driver.
Well Uber is set to introduce an in-app chat feature that allows riders and drivers to send messages to each other from within the app. This means that you no longer need to call or send text messages. Also, the app has “read and delivery receipts” baked into it so riders and drivers will know when their messages have been seen by the other party.

Etisalat Nigeria on Tuesday confirmed it has changed its name to 9mobile. The confirmation was contained in a statement by the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Boye Olusanya.
He said: “Emerging Markets Telecommunication Services Limited (EMTS), which previously traded as ‘Etisalat Nigeria’ wishes to inform its over 20 million subscribers, government, regulatory agencies and all relevant stakeholder groups that the telecommunication company has changed its name to 9mobile as a further testament of our unwavering commitment to ensuring business continuity as Nigeria’s fourth largest telecom operator.”
