Leaked images of the Blackberry Mecury

Mysterious photos of the Blackberry Mecury surfaced and the handset looks like classic Blackberry fare, featuring a prominent qwerty keyboard set below a mid-sized display and this is coming as the BlackBerry CEO John Chen confirmed that the company was working on a new smartphone with a physical keyboard just last month – a final stab at glory before BlackBerry calls it quits for good.

A revisit of the Blackberry DTEK50 and DTEK60

Following on from the DTEK50, BlackBerry’s much leaked and rumoured second Android device in the series has now been officially launched as the BlackBerry DTEK60. As with the DTEK50, the DTEK60 is based on an existing Alcatel design, in this case the Idol 4S, and once again its a touch-display only device with none of BlackBerry’s old QWERTY keyboard habits present.

Hold Your Horses, Whatsapp Will Not Stop on Blackberry THIS YEAR!!!

We told you some time ago that Whatsapp announced that it will end support for Blackberry devices and lower Android OS by the end of this year. As a matter of fact, a lot of Blackberry users are already looking at options to upgrade to as the year is drawing to a close.

Well, WhatsApp has now tampered “justice” with mercy as they have now extended that date to the 30th of June next year. Good news eh?

Blackberry to Make One Last Phone With a Physical Keyboard.

We informed you that Blackberry is more focused on security software than hardware in this post about the DTEK60 However, the CEO of the company Mr. John Chen has revealed that the company will produce one more phone with a physical keyboard. Chen who was speaking to Bloomberg said that he had promised people one more phone with a physical keyboard and that the company will make that available before long.
