Facebook has opened NG_Hub, the principal flagship community hub space in Africa, in the city of Lagos, Nigeria. The organization teamed up with the Co-Creation Hub (CcHub) to achieve the point of reference on Tuesday, 22 May 2018.

Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg reported on Tuesday that the world’s largest social network would soon include a new dating feature vowing to make privacy protection its top priority in the wake of the Cambridge Analytica scandal.
But Zuckerberg said during his address that the company would “keep building, even while we focus on keeping people safe.”
The new dating feature links to events and groups on the larger platform, allowing users with dating profiles to connect via shared interests or commonly attended events.

Facebook have introduced the Messenger Kids App and this is because Facebook requires everyone to be at least 13 years old before they can create an account, but according to reports more than half of kids under-13s in the UK have an illegal Facebook account (after their parents helped them to sign up).
In a bid to ensure that the kids experience a legal part of Facebook, albeit, in a controlled environment, Facebook has created Messenger Kids, a trimmed down version of Facebook Messenger for children.
