Nigeria Senate working to halt the proposed increase in data plan price

The Nigerian Senate is working to halt the proposed increase in data plan price which has been scheduled to commence from the 1st of December 2016. This is coming after we informed you how bad Nigerians reacted to the news about the proposed increase in data plan price.

Now the Senate President, Bukola Saraki said working is already on-going on means to stop the new tariff regime. He said this on his social media platform on Wednesday. MTN Commence 4G LTE Service In Nigeria

MTN Nigeria has announced it is commencing a trial mode for 4G LTE service in Nigeria through its Subsidiaries Visafone, the Telecommunication giant is test running the service through its Visafone subscribers with 800 MHz band probably to see what becomes the future of the 4G service in the country.

Richard Iweanoge (General Manager, Consumer Marketing, MTN Nigeria) in his words, gave a hint on the benefits of the service:
