Zeiss has announced a new Lens for the Sony FE-Mount, the new lens called Batis lens is an 18mm F2.8 lens which has a diagonal angular field of 99 degrees, an OLED to display focus distance and depth of field information, the lens comes with a minimum focus distance of 0.25m/9.8in, it weighs 330 grams and also measures about 80mm in lenght.

Nikon has introduced newer members to its Coolpix series after the release of the Nikon Coolpix A100 and A10 sometime around January. The Company has yet introduced another blockbuster piece of Cameras by launching the A900, B700 and B500 compact zoom cameras which will be available in the US in the coming months with a price tag of $299 respectively.
All three cameras feature Bluetooth Low Energy which is suitable for an “always on” connection with Nikon’s SnapBridge app and also comes with an inbuilt Wi-FI and NFC.

Nikon recently flagged another 1 series of mirrorless interchangeable lens camera (MILC)- the Nikon 1 V3. This was used to replaces the 1 V2. There are a few changes in the form of an upgraded design and beefed up specs.
The Nikon 1 V3 loses the EVF to make the camera more pocketable. Furthermore, the 1-inch CMOS sensor on the 1 V3 (with a crop factor of 2.7x) can now shoot 18.4-megapixel images compared to the 14-megapixel sensor on the predecessors. Other improvements include faster shooting speeds in burst mode and the inclusion of Wi-Fi connectivity to smartphones and tablets.
